A "Green" hotel is an eco-friendly destination which also offers enchanting experiences. Through the Michelangelo Green program initiative, our commitment to operating in an environmental-friendly way beneficial to the local community creates opportunities for new experiences.
We are trying to reduce the limit of kWh per overnight stay, to meet the Travelife green energy consumption standards for hotels. We continue to look for ways to reduce energy consumption in our hotel and we invest in research for energy-saving methods such as using automatic sensors and LED lighting.
We have provided training to our personnel to apply water-saving methods to meet the goals that have been set. Water-saving is our top commitment.
We have created a waste-reduction program through the implementation of new strategies, such as replacing plastic bags with reusable ones and the use of plastic reusable cups instead of disposable ones. We collect recyclable types of plastic, paper or metal, used cooking oil, batteries and obsolete equipment.
We have increased the presence of local products in all our restaurants in an effort to support the local community while reducing waste.
